Huawei recently announced that it has secured a battery order from Aggreko for use in a renewable energy project in the Brazilian Amazon. The project, estimated to cost approximately $165.55 million, is expected to be completed within three years. It will utilize energy storage products provided by Huawei, operating in conjunction with solar power plants within the Amazonas microgrid to diversify Aggreko's electricity supply in the region, moving it away from heavily polluting thermal power plants.
