US companies invest $500 million in Mexico to build electric vehicle charging stations.

U.S. companies Invisible Urban Charging Inc. (IUC) and ATX Smart Mobility plan to invest $500 million in building electric vehicle charging stations in central Mexico. The investment will initially deploy 38 charging stations and 140 electric buses in the Bacchio region of central Mexico. IUC will provide funding for the charging station construction, equipment procurement and operation and maintenance services, a site management software platform, and an application for vehicle owners; while ATX will optimize public transportation routes and energy consumption through an artificial intelligence platform.
