Subaru plans to launch a new electric vehicle in North America in the second half of this year. This vehicle is a rebadged version of Toyota's new three-row electric SUV, the Highlander. The official name and technical details of the new car have not yet been announced, but it is expected to follow the same collaborative model with Toyota. Subaru's three current electric vehicles are all built on the E-Subaru Global Platform and jointly developed with Toyota. The new model will target North American households with two cars and will be equipped with home AC charging capability.
