Brazilian Automotive Market Sales Analysis Report, February 2026

In February 2026, Brazil's new car sales reached 177,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Cumulative sales for the first two months totaled 339,900 units, also a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Chinese brands are rapidly increasing their presence in the Brazilian market, with BYD achieving sales of 11,430 units, a year-on-year increase of 62.5%, and its market share rising to 6.5%.
