Uber and Nvidia plan to launch robotaxis in 28 cities starting next year.

Uber and NVIDIA announced an expanded autonomous driving partnership, planning to launch a fleet of self-driving cars powered by NVIDIA's full-stack software in Los Angeles and San Francisco in the first half of 2027, and expand to 28 cities worldwide by 2028. At the heart of this deployment is NVIDIA's DRIVE Hyperion autonomous driving platform and its next-generation inference-based AI model, "Alpamayo".
