Xiaomi Auto welcomes a new leadership team, with Hu Zhengnan and Song Gang officially joining the company.

On April 17, 2026, Xiaomi Group announced the appointment of Hu Zhengnan as Vice President of the Group and CTO of the Automotive Division, and Song Gang as Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Automotive Division. Both will report directly to Group CEO Lei Jun. This marks the first time Xiaomi Auto has established a CTO position since its founding in 2021.
