Mexican car market brand sales rankings in the first quarter of 2026

In the first quarter of 2026, Nissan maintained its leading position in the Mexican auto market with 67,130 units sold, but its year-on-year growth was only 2.7%. Chevrolet followed closely with 47,132 units sold, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%. Volkswagen, Toyota, Kia, Mazda, MG, Hyundai, Geely, and Ram also made it into the top ten. Among them, Geely and MG saw particularly significant sales growth rates, reaching 283.8% and 30.1% respectively.
