In the first quarter of 2026, China's cumulative automobile exports reached 1.83 million units, a significant year-on-year increase of 61.4%. March alone saw exports of 695,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 74.3% and a month-on-month increase of 25.2%, setting a new historical record. Structurally, new energy vehicles accounted for over 58%, with exports reaching 1.061 million units, a year-on-year increase of 92.5%. Europe emerged as the largest market for growth, accounting for 35%.
