Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron jointly invest in AI security research company Anthropic

AI security research company Anthropic recently completed a $65 billion Series H funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $965 billion, surpassing competitor OpenAI. The round was co-led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, with other investors including Baillie Gifford, Blackstone, and Brookfield. Notably, the world's three largest memory chip giants—Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron Technology—joined the investment for the first time simultaneously as "strategic infrastructure partners."
