FAW Hongqi and Hesai Technology jointly develop the world's first in-car LiDAR

FAW Group and Hesai Technology have reached a cooperation agreement to jointly develop the world's first in-vehicle LiDAR intelligent driving system. The system will first be applied to the next-generation flagship electric vehicle of the Hongqi brand and is expected to be mass-produced in the first half of 2025. Hesai's ET25 ultra-thin long-range LiDAR will become the core component of the system, providing safer driving decisions for smart cars. At present, Hesai has delivered more than 190,000 LiDARs.
