OmniVision Launches First Automotive Camera PMIC Solution Supporting ASIL B Functional Safety

OmniVision Group has released the first automotive Camera PMIC solution in China that supports functional safety ASIL B. With the development of ADAS technology, the number of automotive cameras has increased, their functions have been enhanced, and the requirements for power management chips have also increased. ORX1210 is a highly integrated PMIC with small package, low power consumption, high efficiency, etc., and meets the ISO26262 functional safety standard. This PMIC integrates a rich functional safety mechanism, and is currently accepting samples, and is expected to be mass-produced in Q4 2023.
