OmniVision Group joins hands with Valens Semiconductor

OmniVision and Valens Semiconductor are collaborating to provide automakers with advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) application camera solutions. The two parties will combine OmniVision's automotive reference design system (ARDS) camera module with Valens Semiconductor's VA7000A-PHY chipset and use OmniVision's OX08B40 image sensor. This collaboration aims to reduce the size, power consumption and cost of cameras and achieve interoperability with a wider A-PHY ecosystem.
