OmniVision Launches Automotive Industry’s First 5-Megapixel RGB-IR Global Shutter Sensor

OmniVision launched the OX05B1S at CES 2022, the automotive industry's first 5-megapixel RGB-IR global shutter sensor for in-vehicle monitoring systems. The sensor has an ultra-small 2.2-micron pixel size and high near-infrared sensitivity, which can monitor drivers and passengers at the same time, reducing complexity, space, power consumption and cost. In addition, the OX05B1S also integrates network security functions to improve the security of in-vehicle monitoring.
