Seyond and Avikus, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, South Korea, cooperate to promote autonomous ship technology

At the 2024 International Consumer Electronics Show, Seyond and Avikus, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea, announced a partnership, for which Seyond will provide high-performance Falcon LiDARs. This partnership marks an important breakthrough in the field of autonomous ship technology for both parties, aiming to improve the safety and efficiency of maritime and shipping. The first ships equipped with Falcon LiDARs are expected to be launched in the summer of 2024.
