ams OSRAM has launched the new OSLON® P1616 infrared LED, which is designed to optimize the illumination area for the square or rectangular field of view of infrared cameras. This ultra-small package size LED of 1.6mm×1.6mm is suitable for devices such as laptops and smart doorbells, saving design space. The new LED provides uniform illumination, simplifies the system calibration process, and improves the efficiency of face recognition.
