Texas Instruments launches new family of power conversion devices

Texas Instruments today released two new power conversion devices, including a 100V integrated gallium nitride (GaN) power stage and a 1.5W isolated DC/DC module. The former uses thermally enhanced packaging technology to reduce the solution size by 40%, improve power efficiency, and reduce switching losses by 50%. The latter provides ultra-high power density for automotive and industrial applications, with a size reduction of more than 89%.
