The new generation of Pony.ai Robotaxi models has obtained remote passenger testing permit in Guangzhou

Toyota Sina Autono-Maas (S-AM), equipped with Pony.ai's sixth-generation autonomous driving hardware and software system, has obtained a remote passenger test license in Nansha, Guangzhou, with an operating area covering 803 square kilometers. This is the second time that Pony.ai's new generation of autonomous driving models has obtained this license after the fifth-generation model. Pony.ai focuses on safety, uses automotive-grade solid-state laser radar, and develops its own automotive-grade domain controller. Toyota provides redundant design for S-AM.
