Microchip Technology Releases TimeProvider® 4500 Series of Master Clocks

Microchip Technology has launched the TimeProvider® 4500 series master clock, the industry's first hardware timing platform that provides up to 25 Gbps high-speed network interfaces, achieving precise time accuracy of less than 1 nanosecond. The product is suitable for critical infrastructure fields such as 5G telecommunications, power facilities and transportation, and does not rely on global navigation satellite systems. TimeProvider 4500 supports Precision Time Protocol (PTP) tasks, is highly scalable, and can provide services to thousands of clients. In addition, it has flexible connectivity to protect operators' infrastructure investments.
