Pony.ai wins China's first taxi operating license

Pony.ai recently won the bid for the taxi capacity quota in Nansha District, Guangzhou, becoming the first autonomous driving company in China to obtain a taxi operating license. The company will deploy 100 autonomous driving vehicles to provide taxi services in Nansha, Guangzhou, and is expected to officially start charging operations from May. Pony.ai also plans to expand to more cities in the future.
