Continental Wuhu Plant Photovoltaic Power Generation Project Started

The photovoltaic power generation project of Continental's Wuhu plant has officially started. The project covers an area of ​​42,536 square meters and has an installed capacity of 23,500 square meters. It is expected to generate 4,610,000 kWh of electricity annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2,680 tons. This is the fifth plant of Continental in China to deploy a photovoltaic power generation system and the largest power generation capacity base in the automotive sub-group in China. The Wuhu plant is committed to achieving the goal of carbon neutrality and has obtained the Wuhu Green Factory Certification by improving production processes, promoting circular economy and digital R&D.
