Micron Technology Launches 128GB DDR5 RDIMM Memory

Micron Technology announced the launch of 128GB DDR5 RDIMM memory based on a 32Gb single DRAM chip, suitable for key data center applications such as AI and ML, HPC, and IMDB. The memory module uses 1β process technology, which increases capacity density by 45%, improves energy efficiency by 22%, and reduces latency by 16% compared to competing products. Supported by partners such as AMD, HPE, Intel, and Supermicro, it has reached a rate of 5,600 MT/s on mainstream server platforms.
