Novelis Changzhou Plant Receives Dual Certification from Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI)

Novelis' Changzhou plant recently obtained the Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Chain of Custody Standard certification, having previously obtained the ASI Performance Standard certification in May 2022. This is the first time Novelis has obtained ASI dual certification in China, marking an important achievement in responsible and sustainable procurement, processing and production of the aluminum value chain. Novelis is committed to achieving the goal of ASI standard certification for all its plants worldwide, and plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and reduce its carbon footprint by 30% by 2026.
