Sweden's Silex acquires Germany's Elmos automotive chip production line

Sweden's Silex Microsystems AB plans to acquire the automotive chip manufacturing production line and related assets of Germany's Elmos Semiconductor SE for 84.5 million euros. Elmos was founded in 1984 and focuses on the research and development and production of automotive CMOS chips and sensor chips.
