22 unmanned heavy-duty flatbed trucks put into regular operation at Tangshan Port

Tangshan Port Group has successfully completed the intelligent transformation project of its container terminal. 22 heavy-duty autonomous flatbed trucks (HAVs) equipped with advanced technology and the supporting operation management system (OMS) have been put into normal operation. The project uses a multi-sensor fusion positioning algorithm and integrates heterogeneous dual drive motors, dual hydraulic pumps and kinetic energy recovery technologies to improve energy efficiency. At the same time, an intelligent horizontal transport operation management system (OMS) has been deployed to enhance the fleet management and operation capabilities. According to expert evaluation, the system has reached the leading level in China.
