SmartSens releases 16-megapixel mobile phone image sensor

Recently, SmartSens (stock code 688213), a leading CMOS image sensor supplier, launched a new 16-megapixel image sensor SC1620CS, designed for mobile phone applications. This 1.0μm pixel-size back-illuminated (BSI) image sensor is equipped with SmartSens' advanced SFCPixel-SL® technology, which has the advantages of high sensitivity, high dynamic range and low noise, and is suitable for front and rear cameras of mobile phones.
