Infineon CoolSiC™ helps Delta Electronics develop bidirectional inverter

Delta Electronics has successfully developed a bidirectional inverter using Infineon Technologies AG's CoolSiC™ products, integrating solar power generation, energy storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging functions, allowing electric vehicles to be used as emergency backup power for homes. The system is equipped with Infineon's 1200V M1H CoolSiC™ EasyPACK™ 1B module and 1200 V CoolSiC™ MOSFET, with an output power of approximately 10kW and a peak efficiency of over 97.5%.
