STMicroelectronics' strategic layout in the new energy vehicle market

STMicroelectronics (ST) is optimistic about the new energy vehicle market. ST has signed about 130 silicon carbide projects with 85 customers, and it is expected that SiC sales revenue will reach US$1.2 billion by 2023. ST's SPC5 automotive MCU series is popular in the market, and its safety zone platform solution and electric vehicle-specific MCU have also received orders from many automobile manufacturers. ST also provides a variety of Internet of Vehicles solutions, such as T-box dedicated processors and high-precision vehicle positioning GNSS systems.
