STMicroelectronics and Sanan Optoelectronics cooperate

STMicroelectronics and Sanan Optoelectronics announced the establishment of an 8-inch silicon carbide device joint venture manufacturing plant in Chongqing, China to meet the needs of China's automotive electrification, industrial power and energy applications. The joint venture will use ST's SiC patented manufacturing process technology to produce SiC devices for ST.
