ST China President explains semiconductor manufacturing strategy

The president of ST China stressed that chip design and manufacturing are equally important. In order to achieve the $20 billion revenue and 2027 carbon neutrality goals, ST is gradually implementing its manufacturing strategy. ST plans to double its 12-inch wafer production capacity between 2022 and 2025, and increase R&D investment in third-generation semiconductor technologies such as SiC and GaN.
