STMicroelectronics launches global shutter image sensors to help upgrade the safe driving experience of automobiles. These sensors enable cars to better monitor the behavior of drivers and passengers and improve safety. It is estimated that by 2026, global sales of automotive cameras will reach 364 million units, with interior cameras growing the fastest at a CAGR of 22.4%. STMicroelectronics' global shutter sensors can realize the functions of driver monitoring systems (DMS) and cabin/occupancy monitoring systems (CMS/OMS), improving driving safety and convenience.
