STMicroelectronics releases third-generation SiC products

STMicroelectronics has launched the third-generation STPOWER silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET transistor, which improves performance and reliability for electric vehicles and industrial applications. The new product is optimized for 800V drive systems to help improve the endurance of electric vehicles. SiC revenue is expected to reach US$1 billion in 2024.
