STMicroelectronics has launched Deep Edge AI technology, which enables embedded devices to run artificial intelligence algorithms locally to achieve real-time environmental perception, human-computer interaction, decision-making and control, and other functions. This technology is expected to meet the needs of some users for data security, system responsiveness, privacy, and local node power consumption. It is expected that by 2030, global shipments of Deep Edge AI devices will reach 2.5 billion units.
