Exploring ETC smart parking: 28 provinces across the country promote pilot projects

In March 2022, 28 provinces across the country actively promoted the ETC smart parking pilot project, involving Fujian, Sichuan and other provinces. At present, there are 4,139 parking lots in the country that support ETC payment, and 3,383 are officially in operation. The total number of ETC transactions reached 9.6224 million. Various provinces such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei have contributed, among which Beijing has the highest transaction volume, reaching 2.162 million. In addition, 51 airports have opened ETC parking lots, accounting for half of the total, with a transaction volume of 579,900 in March.
