Hefei launches its first smart logistics project to promote the development of intelligent connected vehicles

On April 6, Hefei's first smart logistics project was officially launched at Volkswagen Anhui. Led by Hefei Economic Development Zone, the project aims to explore the application scenarios and business models of intelligent connected vehicles, reduce logistics operating costs, improve logistics efficiency, and help achieve energy conservation and emission reduction goals. The project mainly involves the operation of connected trucks and self-driving shuttle buses. CITIC Technology is responsible for the intelligent network transformation along Susong Road, Lianhua Road and other sections, and has deployed intelligent roadside equipment and vehicle-mounted terminals to realize vehicle-road collaborative technology, optimize traffic light control, promote vehicle-road-cloud interconnection, promote the development of self-driving buses, and contribute to the construction of Hefei's dual-smart city.
