NIO postpones self-developed battery cells and turns to suppliers to purchase batteries

According to Reuters, NIO has divested its battery business, postponed its self-developed battery cell plan, and instead purchased batteries from suppliers. Among them, the entry-level L60, the first car of its sub-brand Ledao, will be equipped with BYD's blade battery.
