The pilot production line of magnesium-based solid hydrogen storage materials is about to start trial production

Magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage materials are seen as a key part of future hydrogen energy strategies due to their high hydrogen storage density, low cost and excellent safety. Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. has increased its R&D investment in the field of magnesium hydrogen storage and cooperated with a number of scientific research institutions. In April 2023, Baowu Magnesium signed a technology development agreement for a magnesium-based hydrogen storage material project with Chongqing University and Baosteel Metal, aiming to develop high-performance magnesium-based hydrogen storage material products. At present, the equipment of Baowu Magnesium's magnesium hydrogen storage pilot production line has been installed, and trial production is expected to start before the end of the year.
