Recently, there have been reports that Feifan Auto will lay off 70% of its employees and the brand may be abandoned by SAIC Group. In response, Feifan Auto officially issued a statement saying that these rumors are untrue and Feifan Auto will continue to operate independently. Feifan Auto's predecessor was the SAIC R brand, which is affiliated with SAIC Roewe. In 2022, Feifan Auto's sales reached 14,500 units, and in 2023, its sales were 21,416 units, including 14,092 F7 models and 6,902 R7 models. According to the plan, during the period 2022-2025, Feifan Auto will launch at least 5 new models, covering sedans, SUVs, MPVs and other fields, and achieve sales growth of at least 100% per year.
