Porsche officials recently stated that following the pure electric Macan model, the brand also plans to launch three more pure electric models, including the 718 pure electric version, the Cayenne pure electric version and the full-size flagship pure electric SUV model. It is understood that Porsche has carried out technical upgrades for the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant last year and prepared for the new generation of 718 pure electric models, and the new car will also be put into production on the same line as the Porsche 911 model. At present, the excess order models of the 718 fuel version have also been delivered to the Volkswagen Osnabrück plant in Germany for production. After the production of excess orders is completed, the 718 series fuel version models will no longer be produced by the Volkswagen factory. According to previous information, Porsche's new generation of 718 pure electric models will be built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform architecture, and are expected to be launched in succession as early as 2025.
