Changzhou’s power battery industry agglomeration effect is significant

Driven by leading enterprises such as Jiangsu Times, SAIC Times, AVIC Lithium Battery, Honeycomb Energy, and Nortel Este, Changzhou has gathered 48 key supporting enterprises. From January to November 2023, the total production and sales of power batteries were 96.4GWh and 101.5GWh respectively, accounting for 44.6% and 46.5% of the provincial total, respectively, which was about 8 percentage points lower than in 2022, but still ranked first in the province.
