Chinese automakers build factories in Mexico to counter Trump's tariff threats

Despite Trump's tariff threats, Chinese automakers such as BYD, SAIC MG, and Chery are still investing in Mexico to build factories to enter the U.S. market in a roundabout way. These automakers value Mexico's geographical advantages and the zero-tariff policy brought about by the US-Canada-Mexico Agreement, hoping to reduce costs and expand their market share in North and South America by building factories in Mexico.
