Beijing International Auto Show Witnesses the Rise of Chinese Auto Brands

At the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show, Chinese new energy vehicle brands shined brightly and attracted the attention of many visitors. A total of 278 new energy vehicle models participated in this auto show, an increase of 70% over the previous one. Among them, new energy models accounted for more than 80% of the 117 global first-time new cars. Nearly 20 new energy brands made their debut, breaking many historical records. In the past, joint venture cars and foreign-funded cars were the focus of the auto show, but now Chinese auto companies are leading more than 1,200 exhibitors around the world in fierce competition for the "C position".
