Ideal Auto plans to have more than 2,000 supercharging stations online by 2024

According to the official Weibo account of Ideal Auto, as of March 1, 2024, 349 Ideal 5C Supercharging Stations have been put into use, achieving full connectivity of core cities in the four major economic zones of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay Area and Chengdu-Chongqing, as well as the opening up of some popular inter-city travel and tourism routes. It is expected that more than 2,000 supercharging stations will be put into operation by 2024. In terms of highways, a nine-vertical and nine-horizontal supercharging network will be built to achieve 5C supercharging coverage of more than 70% of the national highway main lines; in terms of cities, 2C, 4C and 5C supercharging stations will be built according to power conditions and thermal distribution through a combination of franchising and self-construction, and urban supercharging stations will complete 50% coverage of core urban areas of third-tier and above cities.
