Geely Group's layout in the field of flying cars

In September 2017, Geely Group acquired the American flying car company Terrafugia and entered the flying car field. In September 2019, Geely Group invested in Volocopter, a German urban air travel service provider, and was responsible for the production and marketing of Volocopter products in China. In September 2021, Volocopter and Volocopter, both subsidiaries of Geely Group, announced the establishment of a joint venture company, Volocopter (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd. Volocopter will be responsible for the production and market operation of Volocopter products in China, and plans to land urban air travel (UAM) in China in the next 3 to 5 years.
