Volkswagen Group's R&D and test flights in the field of flying cars

Volkswagen Group (China) released its first eVTOL manned aircraft prototype V.MO in 2022. This prototype is built on existing autonomous driving solutions and battery technology and is designed as a zero-emission mobile travel mode. With a wingspan of 11.2 meters and a wingspan of 10.6 meters, it adopts a unique luxury X-wing configuration and is equipped with eight rotors for vertical take-off and landing and two propellers for heading and horizontal propulsion. At the end of summer 2023, the improved prototype conducted a test flight with a higher standard.
