Nezha Auto's sluggish sales lead to overcapacity at its Nanning plant

Nezha Auto's Nanning factory has been shut down for more than half a month due to overcapacity caused by sluggish sales. The factory is the product of a strategic cooperation between Nezha Auto and the Nanning Municipal Government of Guangxi, covers an area of 800 acres, and is planned to produce 100,000 new energy passenger vehicles annually. However, due to poor sales, the production line of the Nanning factory is temporarily redundant, so it chose to shut down to reduce unnecessary expenses. In addition, the Nanning factory did not undertake the production task of the new models launched by Nezha this year, which is another important reason for its shutdown.
