Dongfeng Motor, SAIC and other automakers are accelerating the process of installing semi-solid batteries on vehicles. For example, Dongfeng Motor's E70 model is already equipped with solid-state batteries, while the Lantu "Chasing Light" model is equipped with semi-solid-state batteries. SAIC plans to start mass production of semi-solid-state batteries in new models such as Zhiji L6 in 2024.
