Maruti Suzuki plans to expand production capacity in India, launch electric vehicles

Maruti Suzuki plans to double its annual production capacity to nearly 4 million vehicles by 2031 and invest 350 billion rupees in a second plant in Gujarat, western India. It also plans to build a new plant in Haryana, northern India, and plans to launch electric vehicles from 2025.
