Luminar faces challenges, lays off employees and adjusts operating model

LiDAR company Luminar is facing challenges and plans to lay off 20% of its employees and switch to a light-asset operation model. Despite having well-known customers such as Volvo and Mercedes-Benz, the company has not achieved large-scale pre-installation delivery. Its market value has fallen by more than 90% from its historical high.
