Tesla China increases layoffs, cancels many jobs

Tesla is reportedly stepping up layoffs in China to cope with increasingly fierce competition in the electric vehicle market. This is the second large-scale layoff following the layoffs in the sales team last month. The affected employees include engineers, production line workers, customer service representatives and logistics teams. It is not clear to what extent the layoffs will affect Tesla's business in China.
