SAIC Motor and China State Shipbuilding Corporation jointly build ocean-going vessels dedicated to new energy vehicles

The first dual-fuel ro-ro ocean-going vessel specially customized for the export of new energy vehicles, jointly manufactured by SAIC and China State Shipbuilding Corporation, officially set sail on January 17. In the future, 14 clean-powered ocean-going vessels of the same type will join the SAIC Anji fleet. This move aims to improve the safety of new energy vehicle transportation and avoid new energy vehicle spontaneous combustion accidents caused by long-term sea transportation and high temperature exposure.
